Lessons

If you've never ridden before or want to hone your skills we run lessons every Wednesday afternoon at Hayfield Riding Centre just outside Aberdeen.

We have 4 levels of lesson which all happen on a Wednesday afternoon. We have beginner, novice, intermediate and advanced lessons. We meet at 1pm outside Butchart and we all travel to hayfield together in cars and taxis.

Sign up for lessons is done on facebook. We have regular lesson events pages set up to alow people to sign up for lessons.

Beginner

This lesson is either for complete beginners or those who would like to get more confident in their walking and troting.

Novice

In this lesson we would expect riders to be confident in walk and trot. This lesson also starts to teach canter and introduces jumping.

Intermediate

The intermediate lesson is for riders who are confident in walk, trot and canter. The lessons cover some basic dressage and lateral movements as well as jumping.

Advanced

This lesson is for riders who are able to jump 80cm and starting to do more dressage and lateral work.
